Product Features
This type of bearing is widely used in situations such as industrial automatic robots, working machinery and medical facilities, where high rigidity, tightness and accuracy are required at high speeds.
What are crossed roller bearings
Crossed roller bearings are compact bearings with rollers arranged orthogonally between the inner ring and the outer ring. Through the orthogonal arrangement of rollers, one bearing can bear complex loads from all directions at the same time, and the assembly can be independent of the load direction.
Compact structure
By arranging the rollers orthogonally, the cross-sectional areas of two sizes of single-row roller bearings and ball bearings with a contact angle of 45° installed back-to-back are reduced to one size, helping to save space. The small cross-sectional area is reduced to 1 size, helping to save space.
High rigidity
The picture is a cross-sectional view of the rotating part of the turntable. The distance between the application points when torque is applied to the turntable is L, and the allowable moment of the bearing is proportional to the distance L between the application points. When increasing the distance L between the action points to improve the moment rigidity of the turntable, two angular contact ball bearings need to be used. At the same time, due to the need to leave a larger bearing spacing, the device volume will become larger. However, only one crossed roller bearing can be used to increase the distance L between the action points, which not only saves space in the device, but also improves moment rigidity.
